One of the most challenging things is to leave your comfort zone but you have to let go of the life you’re familiar with and take the risk to live the life you dreamt about. While it may not feel like it in the moment, a little bit of discomfort goes a long way in terms of personal development. No one likes feeling uncomfortable, but it’s a big part of improving your performance, creativity and learning in the long run.Your comfort zone is a dangerous place. It prevents you from improving, it stops you from achieving all the things you are capable of achieving and it makes you miserable.
As we grow up and move along the journey of life we pick up habits and routines. We settle down into a way of life that is comfortable, manageable and acceptable. But for most of us, we crave for something more. We desire a better life, a better house, car and holidays. We have this constant feeling we can be better than we currently are, but we ignore it.Let’s face it, there will always be things we fear in life. Some of us fear the obvious like heights, spiders, fires or flying. However, many of us develop fears around things that shouldn’t battle us, but often do. Comfort zones are not always bad.Yes,comfort zones are not always but it can stop us from being the star or trying something new that we really want to try.
How can we get out of our comfort zone?First ,do you like the feeling of success?I’m sure you do.But staying in your own world could be tasteless.Let’s say that you tried something new that you would have never thought of ,the success is like a bash of flavour. In order to get comfortable with being uncomfortable, you need to step out of your comfort zone on a regular basis. “The more comfortable you get with trying new things, the less you’re going to avoid it and the more you’re going to say yes to new challenges.Take small steps. Let’s start with enrolling in that guitar lesson we thought we will never be able to learn. Let’s wake up tomorrow and go for a hike. Let’s talk to new people everyday. It does not matter if we are good or bad at it, what matters is we chose to step out of our comfort zone. The slower you go the better.Give it a try then you’ll get to see the real world. So,You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone, change begins at the end of your comfort zone.
